Jesus is Back!

Jesus went home for a while, but Jesus is back visiting Santa Cruz, preparing to be my companion to Austin for Valentines Day. He flew back in for Mardi Gras, complete with a king cake as a hostess gift. What a guy! He's going to be our escort to ride the mechanical bull, but I wanted to keep him entertained while we were packing for our next trip, so we have been doing a few things in this area.

Yesterday we went to the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose.





He even humored me and we threw pennies into the fountain. Obviously Jesus can get whatever he wants, but he liked pretending like he was a schlep like me.



Since we were already in San Jose, we went to the Winchester House and I snuck Jesus on the tour. (At those ticket prices, he was going to have to wait it out in the car, but he made it in the purse!)



The highlight of our weekend came hours ago when we met Christopher Moore, author of Lamb, the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal and he posed with Jesus.



It's been great, we can't wait for Texas and our ladies!
