Big Waves, Santa Cruz, October 2007

I often look at the coastline and think of the history that it has seen. Each groove is a sign of the tides path, where wind whipped by and told their tales. And then there is a day like yesterday that shows how clearly each crevice was carved. It was a paradise of splashing and crashing that threatened to damped my toes with spray. It was perfect and needed to reign in a soul that is feeling floaty. I love my town.
